How to unlock the Vanguard M1 Garand in Warzone

The M1 Garand from Call of Duty: Vanguard was added to Warzone during a surprise expansion of the Season 6 Battle Pass. You can now unlock and test the Tactical Rifle one month before Vanguard’s release.

For the first time in CoD history, players can use the weapon of an upcoming title in the current game. The developers surprised everyone on October 12, when 24 levels of Vanguard content were added to the Battle Pass Season 6.

Among that content is the previously unreleased M1 Garand. The Tactical Rifle is now available for use, giving players a chance to get comfortable with it before Vanguard’s release date of November 5.

If you want to try and unlock the M1 Garand (or the STG 44, which has also been released), it’s pretty straightforward. So here are the details of the new weapon and how it can be tested on Warzone as soon as possible.

Vanguard M1 Garand added in the Season 6 Battle Pass

Warzone has a long history with powerful, highly mobile, tactical sniper rifles. It used to be “DMRZone” when the DMR, AUG and M16 ruled Verdansk. And, more recently, they have been the Kar98k and the Swiss K31 those who have reigned.

But another tactical rifle has entered the equation and it already looks pretty strong. Though limited to blueprint perks only, the weapon is springing into action before being modifiable with the Vanguard integration into Warzone.

M1 Garand Warzone

As we have already said, unlocking the M1 Garand in Warzone is very simple. All you have to do is level up your Season 6 Battle Pass to level 34, at which point you’ll unlock the White Obsidian blueprint.

At level 72, you will also unlock the M1 Garand Relic Blueprint.

Since Vanguard weapon accessories cannot yet be modified in the Gunsmith, you are limited to the accessories built into each blueprint. Both already have eight accessories.
