Actually, the closed beta of Diablo 4 is under a strict NDA, i.e. a non-disclosure agreement. However, at the moment they are being broken in bulk, as it stands.
What is this beta? Allegedly, the closed beta of Diablo 4 has been running for a few days, at least according to reports from some fans.
Blizzard officially announced that Diablo 4 endgame content will be tested explicitly and that the invitations will be sent out by November 18th. So at least it would fit in time.
Now some alleged players are taking advantage of the moment to share their impressions with others in advance – some to a greater extent than others. Because nobody is actually allowed to talk about it or share their impressions.
We have included official gameplay for 3 of the 5 classes in the upcoming Diablo 4 for you here:
Fans collect over 5 hours of leaked gameplay from the beta
What the fans say: Since no one is allowed to talk about the beta, general vote catching is difficult. Threads keep popping up on social media like reddit in which alleged testers praise Diablo 4. Some even jokingly comment that they break the NDA just to say they love the game.
However, Twitter, reddit and YouTube are working hard to stop gameplay leaks as quickly as possible and in the Diablo 4 subreddit the moderators even imposed an official ban on beta information under NDA.
Still, there are some threads, where players collect leaked gameplay. Videos with a total length of more than 5 hours can be seen there. However, most of it is in Chinese or other languages that we cannot translate.
At first glance, however, there is little information in the videos that has not already emerged from the large 43-minute leak from the Diablo 4 alpha. Apparently skill systems and characters of different classes can be seen.
In our hub you will find all official information about gameplay, release and beta of Diablo 4.
According to some voices, Diablo 4 feels like a real Diablo, reports MeinMMO reader Ninenek. Everyone has to know for themselves whether that is good or bad.
There are even some streamers who stream Diablo 4 on Twitch – sometimes without gameplay in an attempt to circumvent such an NDA breach. However, these streams often disappear as quickly as corresponding videos on YouTube and Co.
Diablo 4 announces the first beta and fans are already afraid of a feature
Can I test myself? Basically yes, but the registration deadline for the current beta has already passed. Once you’ve signed up, check your email or Battle.net client to see if you’ve been invited and can download the beta.
Since endgame content is being tested, experienced players with many hours of playtime in Diablo 3, Diablo 2 Resurrected or Diablo Immortal should be invited. If this is the case for you, check whether you have already been admitted.
However, pay attention to possible fraud attempts in the mails and do not click on unknown links. Usually, the mail only points you to the access, which you can otherwise easily find in the client.
By the way, we strongly advise not to break the NDA. Blizzard can usually trace back quite easily who does not follow the rules there and draw consequences:
